The cultivation of global outlook, a love of nature and a concern for our fellow human beings are all the part of the scheme of education here at the Divya Shiksha Gurukul.

'Guru' refers to the teacher or the master; 'Kul' refers to his domain. Gurukul is an ancient Indian concept of education wherein the participant imbibed knowledge by wholesome development of the student; it is this rich tradition of our fore fathers that we at Gurukul are committed to impart the education to the students. The intention is to awaken the intelligence of the prospective teacher so that she may flower in goodness, kindness and honesty.

It is our responsibility to prepare students with the professional knowledge, skills, and ethical perspectives they will need for effective leadership and practice in a diverse society.

We at Divya Shiksha Gurukul are of the belief that spirit of the country lies in the rural India that's why we seek to become, and encourage our students to become, life-long learners engaged in scholarly inquiry, research, and professional development to bring about academic excellence. We value professional and community service and encourage such service by our students.

Integration of capacities is at the heart of our institute. The capacity building of our prospective teachers for research or inquiry, the capacity for Creativity and Innovation, particularly the creative transfer of knowledge, the capacity to use high technology, the capacity for Entrepreneurial Leadership and the capacity for Moral Leadership and community service will be encouraged.

To implement our mission, the faculty will enrich all programs and course offerings with the values, concepts, and themes that we believe will help prospective teachers become ethical, civic-minded and committed teachers and leaders in their chosen fields.
